A Greater Power

We fear we’ll never get a handle on our addiction. The insanity of continuing to do what is heaping on us trouble and trouble. The longer we stay on our addiction the more trouble we bring upon ourselves. We have gone our own way and tried to live life on our terms. However, living life on our own has landed us in our addiction. When we talk about addiction it’s easy for us to think about drugs and alcohol addictions, but we can find ourselves in many other forms of addictions like food, relationships, gambling, pornography, smartphones. The list is endless.

Unimaginable Power

The power for genuine change isn’t found in anything this world has to offer. The 12-Steps are helpful in achieving lasting change. Therapy is a wonderful tool for exploring and healing our brokenness. But it’s Jesus who can restore our sanity. He is the one who has the power to take an old alcoholic and redeem him. It is the power of Jesus that took me out of bondage to a bottle and set my feet on a path to sanity. My journey began on September 16, 1993 and Jesus has never let me down. He has displayed His power in my life and there is more power than I can imagine.
